Group Parties: Bristol Homeschoolers ordinarily sponsors four parties each year for our children: Fall/Harvest, Christmas, Valentine and Spring/Easter. If you are willing to organize a party, contact Katherine Wilson-Thompson.

Guidelines for Field Trips and Group parties:

Remember: "BE A BLESSING"

1. If you sign up, please pay up and show up.

2. Parents need to stay with their children at all times, or designate another individual to watch their children. These events are not for the purpose of giving moms time to visit with one another, fun as that is.

3. Children must stay in the areas designated by the organizers.

Suggestions for those organizing group events:

1. Make every attempt to charge reasonable costs for crafts, etc. Remember that we have some BIG families in our group.

2. It would be helpful to have a written schedule of events, either posted or as a handout, for parents to refer to: time and location of each activity, etc. It would also be helpful to have one person assigned to direct traffic (eg. greet arrivals at the door and steer them in the right direction, line up children when they have to move from one location to another, etc.).
